Menehune Shores 



Menehune Shores is a six story complex.
It is one of the few complexes located on the
Ma Kai (ocean side) of South Kihei Road
and sits directly on the Oceans edge! 

The complex has one, two and three bedroom condos.
Each condo is individually owned and condos will vary in decor and in-room amenities.


         

The Pool is located next to the beach, so you can have the beautiful ocean views without even getting your feet sandy!
 There is also Shuffleboard located next to the pool, so you can challenge your 'Ohana (family) and Holalohas (friends) to a friendly game.

    

The 16th century Alii (Royal) Fish Pond of Kalepolepo is located in front of the resort. With the reef protection, the Pond is a great place to swim for your Keikis (children) or those wishing to swim in the ocean without the surf. It is also a great place to practice your snorkeling! The locals still fish in the Pond, often using the ancient method of throwing a net into the water. They occasionally fish at night using torches to attract the fish.

 

There is a Beach Barbecue area, surrounded by grass. You can grill your meal on the gas grills while watching the water flow into the Fish Pond, the sunset and the whales gliding by (in season)... all at the same time!

  

The Rooftop Barbecue and Sunbathing area is equipped with gas grills and picnic tables to grill your evening meal while watching the fabulous sunset and allows you 360* view of south Maui!

On one side you have the beautiful Kai (ocean) with the surrounding islands. frolicking whales (in season) and incredible sunsets. On the other side you have the amazing Mauna (mountain), the dormant volcano, Haleakala. You can watch the sun rise over the top or watch the rain fall on it's slopes and count rainbows, while you are sunning yourself on the lounge chairs that are in the sunbathing area of the roof. It is common to have the sun shining at the ocean, while it is raining on the mountain!

There is free parking at the resort and many other amenities close by. 
Shopping, restaurants, beaches with lifeguards, golf, snorkeling and just about anything else you need
 is located within a couple miles of the resort.
