Dates stayed â?? October 5-18, 2008 â?? via guestbook at the condoâ?¦â?¦â?¦ Dear Danny & Linda â?? MAHALO. What a wonderful holiday we had. It was two glorious weeks on Maui. We played, rested, ate great food and saw some amazing sites. (Here is a summary of what they enjoyed most. Refer to guestbook at condo for complete recommendations). 1) Sitting on the lanai early in the morning and watching the turtles bobbing up and down. 2) Snorkeling. So much fun. Snorkeled right here in front of the condo and of course did the Molikini cruise. 3) Sunrise on Haleakala and dinner at Mamaâ??s Fish House. 4) We enjoyed a casual fun day in Lahaina. 5) Visiting Kula. 6) Another â??must doâ? is the tour of Hana. It is a 10 hour day where you are relieved of drivingâ?¦ Of course we enjoyed the beaches; saw the Sugar Museum and Maui Ocean Center aquarium, fun and easy day tripâ?¦ If you like Indian cuisine complete with live sitar music at Shangri-la, right here in the building. The beaches, the sunsets, the bike riding, the rest and relaxation were wonderful. Also the condo was lovely and we really enjoyed being able to prepare a meal and bring it onto the lanai and watch the waves. Mahalo, Patty & Cliff (California)

Dates stayed â?? September 16-30, 2008 â?? via guestbook at the condoâ?¦â?¦â?¦â?¦â?¦ Aloha! About ½ to ¾ of a mile straight off shore is a large reef that runs roughly parallel to the shore. You have to cross several hundred yards of dead coral and seaweed. The reef contains dozens of types of coral and more and larger fish than Molikini. Where the reef ends at the deeper water there are countless turtles that swim there. The younger ones swim away, but the older-larger ones come close to check you out. We saw schools of large tune, manta rays and a shark about 4â?? long (didnâ??t bother us, with fine, we look larger). The reef is quite a ways out, but it is relatively shallow and close to the surface. The best time to see it is a low tide, between 6-8 am, when the water is like glass. Late afternoon, when the winds die down, we still saw lots of fish and turtles, but the clarity is less than early morning. â??Dittoâ? about Mamaâ??s Fish Houseâ?¦ (refer to guestbook at our condo for some great recommendations. Thanks Bob & Debbie!)â?¦ We enjoyed the condo. We bought rib eye steaks at Costco and barbecued them on the roof. Their barbecues are easy to use and better than ours at home. At the center next door (the blue building) we learned that the rocks out front were constructed several centuries ago by a Hawaiian chief as a fish trap. We are planning to come back in a few years in whale season. Mahalo, Maui. Bob & Debbie (Sacramento, CA)

Dates stayed â?? September 9-14, 2008 â?? via guestbook at the condoâ?¦â?¦â?¦â?¦â?¦ Aloha Linda & Danny, Our honeymoon comes to a close, so I thought Iâ?? write a few things about what we did when we were out and about on the islandï?! â?¦(refer to guestbook at our condo for some great recommendations. Thanks Ren & Barbara!) Enough of the regular stuff â?? truly paradise â?? it did get a bit breezyâ?¦ but I guess would have been very warm without. Our drive to Hana was great. Roads were not too crowded â?? very beautiful tropical flowers in the ditches, valleys & hillsides along the way. If ou want a truly spectacular dinner, and are ok with $$$$ - Mamaâ??s Fish House is Excellent! EVERYTHING we had was over the top. The wine was waay!! over priced for the offering â?? but we are from Sonoma County â?? where the grapes grow, so we are a bit spoiled, I would say. Another thing â?? be sure the folks back home know the time difference. We had several calls around 6 am â?? a bit early for the â??honeymoonâ?! Be sure to take the time and visit the residences of those â??underâ? the water! Go from shore and it is easyâ?¦ just wade right in â?? find a reef and watch the coral & rocks come alive with beautiful creatures! What a honeymoon!!! Mahaol and Aloha, Ren & Barbara (Santa Rosa, CA)

Dates stayed: August 11-20, 2008. Via Guestbook at the condoâ?¦ Aloha Linda! Thank you so much for sharing your home-away-from-home. Itâ??s lovely! I canâ??t thank our friends Nhu & John for recommending us to you. We did so much and had a blast doing it all! (refer to the guestbook at our condo for some great recommendations. Thanks Tina & Phillip!) Tomorrow morning weâ??re on our way home, and I have to say, the one thing Iâ??m going to miss the most is getting up in the morning when everything is still quite, and walking out onto the deck (lanai) and hearing nothing but the ocean. Thanks again, Tina & Phillip

Dates stayed: June 25 to July 3. Linda & Danny.....I forgot to write something in your guest book at the condo before we left, so thought I'd send you this e-mail. We had a wonderful time in Maui. Your condo was THE BEST!!! My cousin and his family stayed in a unit on the third floor, and although it was nice, it didn't come close to 211. My brother and his ohana stayed a few condos south of us, and his was nice also, but he really liked ours (yours) better. Even my cousin who stayed at a beautiful resort in Wailea said our place was waaaay better. And I won't even tell you what she paid for her suite (with no view). Loved the lanai. I spent every morning there unwilling to get up and get moving. I was up to three cups of coffee each day---just an excuse to stay on that lanai a little longer. Best advice I can give. Wake up early....by 6:30 a.m. just to enjoy the cool mornings on the lanai. My son loved hanging out on the futon sofa and looking at "his palm tree" out the window. Our family reunion was great. I met first, second and third cousins for the first time. My ohana is HUGE and everyone was so nice. I got to practice my Pidgin English with them. One cousin roasted a 100 lb. pig (we watched them carve it up) and another made 100 lau-lau's. As it is with the locals....way too much food......and so much fun. One of my cousins sings at a local hotel, so we had a chance to see him perform one night. All in all, and even with a teenager as my travel partner, I (we) had a really nice time. Your condo felt like home by the first evening. We ate in a lot and shopped at the local markets for food. Didn't have to buy fruit because my aunties and cousins supplied us with pineapples, papayas and more mangos than we could eat. Some good!! Stay ono! Thank you, Linda and Danny, for loaning us your wonderful vacation home. I'll be back!!! Be well, Roxanne
