Dates stayed â?? April 12-17, 2009 - via guestbook at the condoâ?¦â?¦â?¦ Aloha Linda, Danny & guests, Packing this morning was the worst part of our trip â?? which means we enjoyed everything else so much we donâ??t want to leave and go back to the â??realâ? world. Your condo has been wonderful â?? unlike staying at a resort/hotel, we found this to be more like home. Enjoyed making coffee in the morning and watching it get light out. Avoiding the $20 hotel breakfast and making our own HOT breakfasts. On a tip from a co-worker, we headed to Kaâ??anapali and the Hula Grill Barefoot Dining experience to see a great ukulele master, Derek Sabastian. We did utilize the BBQâ??s here. They are very nice and we were able to have a nice steak dinner out on the lanai â?? we couldnâ??t eat out every night, so this was perfect. We headed out to Molokini, for a snorkel trip â?? one of our favorite things to do on Maui. The crew of Quicksilver was great. We have been on other boats and this was the best time on QS. The time they took to show us the island, celebrity mansions, â??sceneryâ? on little beach, and talk about the history was a nice touch. Other than shopping trip to Lahaina, we just tried to relax the rest of the time â?? this is a pretty great place to do that! ï? Our final night here we went to Mamaâ??s and had a great table facing the beach right in front. It helped that we called the day we got here and went at 5:30 pm instead of the busier times. Amy had the stuffed Mahi Mahi and I had the Ono. Both were wonderful and after the travel channelâ??s description of the Black Pearl Dessert, we had to try it too. Delicious! ï? By the end, it was no longer the Mahi Mahi that was stuffed. The sun sure id hot here â?? as a Seattle resident with fair skin, I had no chance & we forgot the aloe vera. So if anyone else makes that mistake, there is now a supple in the medicine cabinet. Mahalo, Chris & Amy, Seattle, WA
