Dates stayed - Dec 28, 2009 - Jan, 2010 - via guestbook at the condo - Dear Linda & Danny, Thanks for the great week! So much to see and so little time. Already thinking about our next trip. The condo was great, the view and amenities exceeded our expectations in everyway. Having the patio to hang out on was great. We brought our 2 month old daughter so we had to spend lots of time tending to her needs in the condo. Can't wait to come back! Dallas, Rebecca & Nicole, Vancouver, BC

Dates stayed - Dec 21-28, 2009 - via guestbook at the condo - Aloha Linda & Danny & other #211 guests! Our week in paradise is coming to an end, and we couldn't have picked a better place to celebrate Christmas! I loved seeing such yard decorations as a puffed up snowman hanging from a para-glider! I'm so glad we traded in the Christmas tree for palms this year! It's been just what we wanted... relaxing! We've done a bit of everything and enjoyed it all. (see our guest book in the condo for their favorite places. Thanks Eva & Diane!) We will remember our time here always and take some of the aloha spirit with us back to the mainland! Mahalo to you both and aloha to all! Eva & Diane, Oakland, CA... Thank you, Linda & Danny. We truly enjoyed your comfortable and tastefully decorated place. We enjoyed your hospitality!

Dates stayed - Dec 4-11, 2009 - via guestbook at the condo - Aloha and Mele Kalikimaka! It's hard to believe we've been here an entire week and now we must pack up our mess and return to single digit weather! Thank you for sharing your home with us. It made for a great vacation and the ocean breezes from the lanai kept it comfortable day and night. Yesterday we spotted some whales from the lanai and watched people para-surfing in the wind. Nice way to pass the afternoon. We also spotted a few turtles popping their heads up in the koi pond during the week. We couldn't have asked for more perfect weather and a more comfortable place to stay. We hope we can stay here again. Back home to Idaho to decorate the tree and get into "real life" mode! Thanks again, Greg & Elley Bond, Meridian, ID

Dates stayed - Nov 11-15, 2009 - via guestbook at the condo - Linda and Danny, We just wanted to take a moment to thank you for allowing us to stay in your wonderful condo. All the little treats made such a huge difference compared to a hotel. The lanai is breathtaking! As we sit here on our last day, we still feel in awe. We're trying to figure out a way to bottle up the pleasure and take it home! We were non-stop the entire time, zip-lining, riding down Haleakala, trekking down Iao Needle and attending luaus (and in between eating, eating and eating). We highly recommend Sansei Sushi, Flatbread Pizza Co. in Paia, Lulu's Burgers and Da Kitchen. Thanks again! We'll be back!Gabriela and Ricardo, Chino, CA - PS - I loved the Hawaiian style cover songs of all the old classics. We'd sit out on the lanai enjoy some beers and listen to your radio!

Dates stayed - Nov 3-10, 2009 - via guestbook at the condo â?? Aloha Linda and Danny, Just a quick note to thank you for opening up your home to us. We had a wonderful time. Did a lot of snorkeling at Ahihi - best place to go and you don't have to pay for a charter trip. Saw lots of fish, eels, and turtles. Survived the road to Hana. Not bad, just take it slow and sunrise at Haleakala Crater. Enjoyed our trip to Lahiana! Well, off to airport. BOO! Cindy & Dave, Cincinnati, OH

Dates stayed - Oct , 2009 - via guestbook at the condo - Linda & Danny, What a paradise you have for us here! We have loved Kihei and the surroundings. It's been fun watching the turtles pop-up their heads in the pond while in the background we can watch the paddle boarders, kayakers, scuba divers, boats... so much to see on the lanai. Ahhh, truly paradise. We've had mild weather with hardly any wind. Unusual, we hear. Played in the water a lot. Went to the Old Lahaina La'au and the Molokini snorkel cruise on the Pride of Maui. Would highly recommend both. I snorkeled for the first time. It was awesome and can't wait to do it again next time we're here! We had dinner in and dinner out. Enjoyed LuLu's (1/2 price full menu from 4-7!), Ocean's and Spices. Everyone of them were delicious! Drove the road to Hana yesterday. Didn't get to see everything we wanted but, oh so beautiful. Not for those who get car sick :) Next time we'll make more time to see more of that and also go up the volcano. Our favorite beach was Wailea Beach just past the service entrance to the Grand Wailea. Good parking, gentle waves, nice beach. We went back twice! Thank you for making our 30th anniversary trip so relaxing and wonderful. Lamar also celebrated his 53rd birthday yesterday. Had to do it here in Maui for sure! Aloha and Mahalo to you both! Lamar & Cathy, Warren, OR

Dates stayed - Sept 25 - Oct 3, 2009 - via guestbook at the condo - Linda & Danny, Each morning breakfast on the lanai, the water was always calm in the morning. Observed many things in the fish pond while eating. Jumping stingray, seals, turtles, schools of small fish on the surface, some type of sea bass like fish about 2 feet long that would make incredible jumps.. When we saw the gentleman swimming by on his hour plus swim, we knew it was time to finish up breakfast and start the day. Went to Lahaina. Nice old town. Lunch at Pacific O's, very good. Liked the beach at the very end of South Kihei Rd. Enjoyed the trip to Haleakala, will have to come back to do the sunrise. We celebrated Linda's 50th birthday at the "Feast of Lele" in Lahaina. Lots of food and a good show. Went to Hana on a rainy east coast day. Lots of water pouring off the mountains but streams and ponds were very full and muddy with the run off. The park had closed the Seven Sacred Pools due to flood danger, so we hiked up to the bamboo forest. An easy hike, but the sun was going down, so we didn't make it to the top. Next time. Great ocean views all along the road and good banana bread in Keanae. Drove around west Maui. The blowhole is fun but the road is even more narrow than the one to Hana. The ocean is thunderous here and the windswept landscape makes it all feel like the edge of the world. Our last nite in Maui we went to Cafe'O'Lei at the Rainbow Mall in Kihei and had a great dinner. Mahalo, Linda & Chris, Burnaby, British Columbia

Dates stayed - December 21-28, 2009 - via e-mail........ Aloha, Linda and Danny! We have just returned from a memorable week at your lovely condo. What makes your condo stand out from others we have stayed in is your personal touch and friendly contact with the rentee. We felt more like good friends using your place than users of an impersonal condo. We really enjoyed reading through the "Aloha" Book and learning about what other guests did during their stay. We felt a real camaraderie with them and with you. This personal touch plus an impeccable feel to your unit are the reasons we would definitely consider returning to #211. Thank you very much. It was a pleasure to rent from you and we wish you all the best in the New Year! Diane

Dates stayed - October 3-7, 2009 - via e-mail.... Hi Linda & Danny! Oh, the time has gone by waaaaaaay too fast! Your place here is wonderful and we felt so at home. Your personal touches everywhere are great! We don't want to go home!! We had a fantastic time this first trip to Maui. We were able to relax a lot, which is what we really needed. But, we were also able to do some fun things too. Yesterday we drove the road to Hana. Didn't get to see everything we wanted. But, that's OK, because this defiantly in not going to be our only trip to Maui. We love it here! We also did the Old Lahaina Lu'au and the Molokini Snorkel cruise. It was my first time snorkeling. I'm a bit of a chicken. It was a blast! And I can't believe just how clear the water is! Been watching the turtles here in the pond pop up there heads while watching all the other water activities beyond the wall. Ahh, this is paradise for sure! Again, my dream! That's what it's been. Now it's time to pack (sniffle, sniffle). PS - we loved the Island Music CD... took it with us on the road to Hana. Really was perfect along the way! Aloha and Mahalo! Until the next time!!!.... Cathy and Lamar
